Below deck on a summer night, moving air is the difference between sleeping and lying awake. The SEEKR by Caframo Ultimate 757 is a 7 inch, two-speed fan built for boats running a 24 volt DC system. Caframo says the 757 has long been a favorite of Caribbean sailors, and that it moves a lot of air from the V-berth to the galley with a quiet, low-draw motor made for long life. The FingerSafe blade is designed for strong airflow, the head tilts and the base adjusts so you can aim it anywhere, and it mounts permanently so it stays put in rough water.

Who it suits

  • Sailors and cruisers with a 24V DC electrical system who want a hard-wired cabin fan over a V-berth, a galley, or a helm.
  • Owners replacing an older 757 who want the same fan in black.
  • Anyone who wants a permanent fan that will not slide around when the boat moves.

Not the right fan for

A 12 volt boat, camper, or RV, or anyone who wants to plug in. This model is 24V and direct wire only, with no plug. For a portable fan you can move between the tent and the camper, look at the 2-in-1 Camping Fan with LED Lantern or the Camping Fan with Lantern, 10000mAh.

Specifications (from the Caframo listing)

Before you buy

  • Check your system voltage. Many boats and most campers run 12V, and this fan is the 24V version.
  • It wires into your electrical panel, so plan the run and use a fused circuit. If you are not comfortable with DC wiring, have a marine electrician install it.
  • Amp draw, dimensions, and mounting hardware are not listed. Ask us before you order if you need them.
  • Returns must be requested within 3 days of delivery, and the item must be unused, complete, and in its original packaging. Some items are final sale. See Shipping and Returns.
