Coleman Skylodge 8-Person Instant Tent, Blackberry
The Coleman Skylodge 8-Person Instant Tent is a cabin tent with poles already attached, so it goes up fast at a state park site. Coleman says about a minute. The floor is 12 ft by 9 ft 6 in with 6.5 ft of center height, so adults can stand and dress inside. Coleman says it fits two queen-size airbeds, which is the honest load for a family weekend.
Who it suits
- Families car camping at Missouri, Kansas, and Iowa state parks who want stand-up room.
- Campers who want a quick setup after a long drive, without threading poles.
- Sites with electric hookups, thanks to the E-port for an extension cord.
Ships from U.S. warehouses. Orders process in 1–3 business days; U.S. delivery takes 3–7 business days.
Not the right tent for
Backpacking (it weighs about 33 lb), winter camping, or exposed sites in strong storms. It is a 3-season tent, and Coleman tested the frame to 35 mph winds. When a Midwest storm line is coming, stake it fully, guy it out, and have a plan to get to the car or a shelter.
